  1. Great post, Robert! It’s very difficult to get by on a single pay check and the job market being what it is, as you get older, you’re expected to accept much less. Well. let’s not get into that!

    I agree that asking for a senior discount is the way to go. I also look for products and service designed for seniors, too.

    I came across one, SVC senior value phone and it’s a no contract deal with prepaid service. Very simple and inexpensive. The phone is $20 and the airtime also costs $20 for 3 months.

    If you’re budget is limited or you have a fixed income, this is a worthy consideration.
